Aamir Khan won't say sorry to doctors..

Aamir kahn directly say's that he won't say sorry to doctors."I am very comfortable if the Indian Medical Association (IMA) plan to take legal action if they feel that I have done something wrong. Of course, the courts are available for them. My answer is no, I will not be apologizing," said Aamir Khan, after the IMA asked Aamir to apologize for portraying the Indian medical fraternity in a negative light on his television show Satyamev Jayate.

Last week, Desiclub.com had reported how a section of the Indian medical fraternity was upset with Aamir and accused him of defaming the medical profession through his television show. However, Aamir has now announced that he is ready to face any legal action and will not apologize.

Aamir denied IMA's allegation that he had defamed and insulted the medical profession, "I deny that I have done that. I have the highest respect and regard for the medical profession," says Aamir. The episode in question aired on May 27 and focused on the rampant malpractices existing within the Indian medical profession and even exposed some of the corruption charges that the IMA has been facing.

However, the expose has evidently not gone down too well with the IMA and they immediately demanded an apology from Aamir and warned him of legal action if he failed to do so. "Aamir Khan should apologize for having defamed and given one side of the story on the medical profession. If he does not, we are contemplating taking legal action against him for defaming and demoralizing the medical profession in his TV show," Dr. R Rai, IMA secretary general announced.

Aamir on the other side has responded by saying, "If the medical profession has been insulted and defamed by anybody, it is probably by those who are indulging in unethical practices."

Meanwhile, Aamir has only been earning accolades for highlighting social issues on his television show, which did suffer from poor TRP's initially but looks like Aamir's magic is doing the trick for Satyamev Jayate as well. As far as films are concerned, buzz is that after wrapping up Yash Raj's Dhoom 3 Aamir will star in Tamil actor Prakash Raj's directorial debut. Reports suggest that Raj will direct the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Abhiyum Naanum (Abhi and I). Based on the relationship between a father and daughter, Raj who played the role of the father in the Tamil version has approached Aamir to play the lead in the Hindi version, which he hopes to direct. Looks like there is no stopping Aamir.
